Special sessions: difficulties with reading or understanding

Persons who have difficulties with reading or understanding may take the test in a special session.  Candidates will then be assisted by an examiner who will provide them with the explanations they need to understand the questions.

The theory test may only be taken in a special session (oral) in cases where:

The candidate provides a certificate or affidavit completed by a psycho-medical-social centre, a special learning institute, an observation and guidance centre or a professional orientation centre.

Candidates who are deaf and/or dumb may also take the theory test with an interpreter in sign language (available only at our Wandre examination centre).

An appointment needs to be made via our customer service at 087/57.20.30 or by going to the examination centre of your choice beforehand with a valid and original identity document.

On the day of the test, the examination centre will check the certificate (to be completed and printed beforehand by the candidate). If the conditions are not met, the test will not take place.
