Yes. A confirmation e-mail containing the details of your appointment will be sent to you automatically.

For all tests, you must have with you your valid identity card, along with a Bancontact/credit card to pay for the test.

Payment in cash is currently not authorised.

If you possess training certificates, a provisional or full driving licence or any other document connected with your learning to drive, you should bring these with you on the day of your test.

We should also draw your attention to the fact that this platform merely allows you to book an appointment, independently of our subsequent verification of your compliance with the conditions stipulated in the regulations for the driving test concerned.

In the event of any discrepancy in this regard, the applicant shall be refused access and the test shall not take place.

Yes, you can take your theory test and/or your risk perception test in German by booking an appointment with our examination centre in Eupen.

For the practical B tests: all the candidates can make via our appointment portal.

To make an appointment for the practical tests of categories AM, A, BE, C and D, you have to call at 087/57.20.30.

It is not possible to make an appointment or to take a test for category G as for now.

Yes. Appointments for the theory test (all categories) and Risk Perception Test B (cars) can be arranged via our portal.

For a special sitting (illiteracy or with interpreter), it’s possible to make an appointment via our Call Centre (087/57.20.30).

Check that the number you’re trying to enter is the correct 11-figure number from the back of your identity card.

The first 6 figures should correspond to your year, month and day of birth (10 June 2020 = 200610).

Yes. Currently, it’s a legal requirement to make an appointment for all driving tests.

The theory tests and the risk perception tests are by appointment in the centre of your choice. You can make an appointment via our appointment portal or our customer service department on 087/57 20 30.

The technical driving ability test and practical test are by appointment only. You are advised to register 6 weeks in advance for this test.

For the practical B tests, all the candidates can make a new appointment via our appointment portal.

For categories AM, C and D, you can only make an appointment via our customer service department by calling 087/57.20.30. For categories C and D, please confirm your appointment by making the payment at least 10 days before the date of the test. For categories A, BE and G, you need to go to the examination centre on one of the following days to make an appointment. A prepayment is required at the inscription.

If you are taking your practical test with the driving school, you will need to make an appointment with the driving school. The driving school will then handle making an appointment with the examination centre

Use your mobile phone to book your appointment. You’ll need to confirm your number via a one-off activation code that will be sent to you by text message.

Click on the relevant driving licence category.

Then select the type of test desired.

Enter your postcode or the name of your city/district in order to view a list of your nearest examination centres.

Indicate the date for which you’d like to make an appointment.

The dates with appointment slots still available are highlighted in orange.

Choose the time window that suits you best. If none of them are convenient for you, you can change the date or examination centre so that the system will display alternatives.

Check that the summary of your appointment matches what you wanted.

Throughout the appointment-making process, you have the option of going back to change the data you’ve entered. A summary is displayed on the right side of your screen.

To go back, at the top of your screen, click on:

  • “Test type”, to change the type of test you want,
  • “Appointment”, to amend the examination centre or date/time desired.

Confirm your appointment via the activation code sent to you by text.

You can also cancel your appointment via the homepage of our Driving Test Appointment portal. Click on the “Change / Cancel” button.

Then enter your booking number from the appointment confirmation message, along with your mobile phone number. You can then access your appointment entry and change it.

For categories AM, A, B, G

If you are unable to present yourself for the practical test for which you have registered, you must notify the examination centre two full working days before the date of the test, Saturday not included (Find the contact details of our centres here). For example, if you have an appointment for the Tuesday, you must cancel your appointment at the latest on the Thursday of the week before.

If you fail to do so, you will be required to pay an additional fee of 25 € at your next appointment. (For category A, A1 and A2 tests, you will also have to pay the charge to book the motorcycle following you.)

For categories C, D

Your appointment must be confirmed by paying the test fee at least ten days before the date of the test. If you fail to do so, your appointment will automatically be cancelled. Test fees will not be billed if you notify the examination centre that you will not be attending at least eight working days before the date of the test, Saturdays not included.

 

Should an event of force majeure prevent you from attending, the additional charge can only be refunded by our supervisory authority.

Each candidate can have a maximum of three current appointments for different examinations.
